Welcome to the official website of the Uganda Health Professions Assessment Board (UHPAB).
Established under the TVET Act, 2025 and operationalized by Statutory Instrument No. 25 of 2025, UHPAB was created to provide a unified, credible, and competency-based assessment and certification system for health professionals trained under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) framework.
Our mandate is anchored in the belief that a skilled and certified health workforce is critical to achieving Uganda’s health and development goals. Through transparent assessments, stakeholder engagement, and continuous quality improvement, we ensure that the health professionals entering practice are well-prepared, ethical, and competent.
